怎么正确区分"Too"和"To"

小提示

虽然这个错误不怎么常见，但也可能和"two" 弄混，但是这很好分清，因为two是数字 2。

- She's coming to your party too.（她也要来你聚会。）
- I'm too hot to help you carry two suitcases to the bus station.（太热了，我不能帮你拿俩行李箱去汽车站）
- We are hoping to be near the festival too.（我们也期待假期的到来）
- It's too early to be asking me questions about where I am headed to.（你现在问我要去哪还太早）
- I hate to disturb your thoughts but are you ready to help us with our homework too?（我可不喜欢打扰你思考，但你准备好也帮我们解答作业问题了吗？）
too有两个o，因为要指示两个或多个物体、地点或事物。
记住以下例子
- Do you think we're arriving too soon?（你觉得我们太早来了吗）
  - 这里可重读"toooo"，因为是比应该来的时间早太多了。
- You should meet us there, too. （你也应该在那儿和我们碰面）
  - 这里可以重读"toooo"，如 "Why don't you meet us there as well"或把后面替换为"in addition, along with"等等。
- It's a cold day to be playing outside.（太冷的天，不该出门玩。）
  - 这里重读根本不加重或带来任何更深入的意义。
- They are going to the beach with us.（他们要同我们一起去海滩）
  - "to" 这里只是介词，重读没有意义。
有的人认为句尾从来不会有介词，因此可以通过这个方法区分句尾的"to"、 "too"。不过呢，这只是基于一个误解得出的结论。现代语法学家说这完全有可能发生，一直都这样（查看莎士比亚文学）。
